HUMILITY- HOW DO YOU SEE THE WORLD?

DO YOU SEE THE WORLD AS AN UNENLIGHTENED PLACE?
"There is no humility if you see any creature as less than yourself."

Is it not that every Soul is indeed surrendered to God?
Knowing that to bear the consequences of the deeds
of its mortal is the service it has chosen to accept?
(and thereby in complete surrender and loving, caring "self"-acceptance)?

Yes! The Soul is resigned to mortal folly, but it need not be harmful!
So - Come, children! Come let's pray!
Let us gather together and see what we can do this day
to increase the joy and happiness in the lives of our fellow beings.
Let's be happy! Let's be liberated! Let's celebrate!
Let's  dance and walk in the way of the liberated folk before us!
Let's learn to take responsibility for ourselves!
Let's join hands and follow in the way of the Sufis!

DO YOU SEE STILL THE WORLD AS AN UNENLIGHTENED PLACE?

Is it not that mortal awareness is simply (and consciously) focused elsewhere?
(As in not on the Soul, and therefore not following guidance)?
Is it not that the souls recognize their own immortality,
and realize their ability to make life easier, as in "heaven on earth"?
(If they could only get the attention of their mortals!)
And aren't their attempts often maddening, frustrating, even embarrassing?
We have names (as in epithets) for such attempts.
We call them "intuition", "sub"-conscious, "shadows" and "freudian" slips.

It's your mortal choice where you choose to focus your awareness.
Away from self, on the illusory "other", it's all in your mind, you know.
It's a choice even to focus at all.
Enlightenment is not a process of expanding your awareness of possibilities.
Your awareness, my friend, cannot be expanded.
Enlightenment is the process of recognizing and releasing your self limitations.
It is the process of Life itself.
Life is Awareness Release Training - the A.R.T. of
Learning to Recognize, Accept, and Clearly Distinguish between -
Self, Soul, and God.
This is the Sufi Way.
