He was born in a city Dinwar, Iraq. He is buried in Diniwar, Iraq. 10. He was a student and successor of Abu Ahmad Abdal and master of Abu Yusuf Bin Saamaan who was also his sister's son. He was born in Muharram 331 Hijri. At the age of 7, he became a student of Abu Ahmad Abdal. He is reported to have participated in the army of Sultan Mahmood Ghaznavi. He died on the 4th Rabi' al-awwal (some say Rajab) in the year 411 Hijri at age 80. He is buried in Chisht. He was born (536/1141), in Sajistan, in Persian Khorasan (modern Afghanistan; other accounts say Isfahan) in modern Iran. He is also known as "Sultan-e-Hind". He claimed his progeny to Muhammad through the sixth Imam, Ja`far ibn Muhammad as-Sadiq (AS). Keep us in the shadows of the Leaders of the Faithful For the sake of Sayyidina Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki, (633/1236) Rahmatullahi `alaih ***Wiki*** Khwaja Qutbuddin Baktiyar Kaki (d.1235) was a renowned Muslim Sufi mystic, saint and scholar in the Chishti Order from Delhi, India. He and Hamiduddin Nagori (d.1276) were Khawaja Moinuddin Chishty’s celebrated Khalifas or disciples who continued transmitting the teachings of their master through their disciples, leading to the widespread proliferation of the Chisti order in India. His most famous disciple and spiritual successor was Baba Farid, who in turn became the spiritual master of Delhi's noted Sufi saint, Nizamuddin Auliya, who himself was the Master of Amir Khusro and Nasiruddin Chirag-e-Delhi. 19. Fariduddin’s most famous disciple was Nizamuddin Awliya (d.1325) popularly referred to as Mahboob-i-Ilahi (God’s beloved) whose dargah is located in South Delhi. 20. He was the most eminent islamic leader of his time who lived for the sake of islam. He spread the message brought by Muhammad all over India and taught his disciples to carry forward.
